Subtraction Facts 0 to 9 provides all the materials you need to teach subtraction facts using the concrete-representational-abstract method of instruction. The manual outlines specific teaching procedures for each lesson and includes student tests, progress charts, learning sheets, and more.

In studies, students with learning disabilities increased their ability to compute subtraction facts by 66 percent and the speed at which they were able to make these calculations by 230 percent. Their mean posttest scores were computation--97 percent; word problems without extraneous information--100 percent; word problems with extraneous information--92 percent; and creation of word problems--82 percent.
